اس وائرس کا حملہ ماش Ú©ÛŒ فصل پر زیادہ ہوتا ہے۔ متاثرہ پودے Ú©Û’ پتے Ú†Ú‘ Ù…Ú‘ ہو جاتے ہیں Û” بیمار پودوں کا قد چھوٹا رہ جاتا ہے اور Ù¾Ú¾Ù„ÛŒ میں دانے بننے کا عمل متاثر ہوتا ہے۔ یہ وائرس اگلی فصل تک بیچ Ú©Û’ ذریعے سے بھی منتقل ہو جا تا ہے Û” کھیت میں یہ وائرس بیمار پودے سے صحت مند پودے میں سست تیلے  Ú©Û’ ذریعے سے منتقل ہوتا ہے ۔اس Ú©Û’ انسداد Ú©Û’ لئے ست تیلے کا موثر کنٹرول کریں، بیج صحت مند پودوں سے حاصل کیا جائے اور بیچ والے کھیتوں سے فصل Ú©ÛŒ بڑھوتری Ú©Û’ شروع میں ہی بیمار پودے نکال دیں۔
